The aim of Physical Therapy is to regain all the fitness that was lost as a result of the injury. Regaining your flexibility, strength, power, muscular endurance, balance and coordination are the primary focus.
As part of the process of Physical Therapy stretching and strengthening exercises are done. This begins very gently and gradually; never with any activity that hurts the injured area or makes you feel pain.
